We understand the unique needs and challenges of those entrusted in our care and have created programming and accommodations that reflect this commitment to creating a beautiful and welcoming aura.
During your stay with us, you can expect End-of-Life care planning related to advance directives and living will preparation. Here at Generations, we use the Five Wishes Brochure. This is a detailed outline of all that needs to be addressed during end-of-life care planning.
There are Registered Nurses and on-call staff available to answer calls 24/7. With every call to our office, a Generations employee will answer, we do not use an answering service.
Generations Care Hospice uses durable medical equipment. We provide any equipment and personal care supplies you may need related to your hospice prognosis to help with the best quality of life with us.
Personal care supplies include but are not limited to incontinent supplies, self-care supplies, ostomy, treatment supplies, etc.
Pharmacy Services are available, we pay for all medications related to the patient's prognosis. It's our motto to do extensive education on medication management before we remove any medicine from the list prescribed. We do not practice blanketly discontinuing all medications at admission.
Generations provides nutritional education by our trained registered nurses on staff. We assist with physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Trained therapists are available to care for our patients based on needs and medical recommendations.
